Poker is played with a standard deck of 52 cards. The rank and the suit are the aspects that affect the game.
The cards are numbered from ace to ten. And the rank of the cards corresponds to these numbers. There are also the face cards, the kings, queens, and jacks. You can use them to battle with other cards other players have or you can chose not to. Suits are the color or group of cards these ranks belong. There are four kinds of suits. They are the spades, hearts, clubs, and diamonds. They are not used to break ties however.
Poker begins with a round of betting and it goes on until all the community cards are on the table. These cards can be used by every player to combine with the cards in their hand. They are the flop, the turn and the river. When all of the community cards are faced up on the table then it is time for the players to lay down their cards. The one who has the highest set of cards will be declared the winner.
